Jonathan Rigg & Mary Darling Goad

Jonathan and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on July 4th, 1839 in Mitcham by Reverend George Rigg.¹

  • At Mitcham Church, on the 4th inst., by the Rev. George Rigg, of
    Lincoln, J. Rigg, Esq., of Cresswell-park, Blackheath, to Mary Darling,
    only daughter of William Thomas Goad, Esq., of Tamworth Lodge,
    Mitcham, Surrey.

They had four sons and two daughters, named William, Herbert, Frederick, Arthur, Fanny and Edith.
