Thomas Howard Goad

Thomas was born on October 14th, 1827 in London.¹

Birth Notes
- On the 14th inst., in Wimpole-street, the lady of Benjamin Goad,
  Esq., of a son.

Thomas' father was Benjamin Goad and his mother was Anne Elizabeth Hill. His paternal grandparents were William Goad and Darling Thomas; his maternal grandparents were Lt Col Sir Robert Chambre Hill and Eliza Lumley. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles, George, Goad, Emma and Henrietta. He died at the age of 27 on October 25th, 1854 in Balaklava.²

Death Notes
- On the 25th of October, killed in the engagement at Balaklava, aged
  27, Captain Thomas Howard Goad, 13th Light Dragoons, eldest son of
  the late B. Goad, Esq., and stepson of the late General Sir Thomas
  Bradford, G.C.B., G.C.H.
