Christine's father was Henry Edward Williams and her mother was Christina Dow.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Williams and Elizabeth Hannah Bolt Rose Bellman; her maternal grandparents were William Dow and Ann Adams. She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry, Alfred and Mildred.
