John Thomas Waterhouse Jr 
John was born on July 17th, 1841 in Hobart Tasmania.1 John's father was Rev John Thomas Waterhouse and his mother was Eleanor Dickenson. His paternal grandparents were Rev John Waterhouse and Jane Beadnell Skipsey. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry, William, William, Ellen, Emma, Mary and Mary. He died at the age of 54 on March 2nd, 1896 in Hilo, Hawaii.
John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on October 21st, 1868 in Swan Bank Methodist Chapel by Levi Waterhouse and witnessed by Susan Edith Pinder and John Waterhouse Butters.2
