Ann's baptism took place on June 2nd, 1800.  Ann's father was Thomas Waterhouse and her mother was Hannah Houlden.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Waterhouse and Eleanor Riley; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Houlden and Mary Holmes. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, James, John, Mary, Ann, Hannah and Elisabeth.
