Catherine Pickersgill

Catherine was born on July 23rd, 1800 in Whitkirk, Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on September 4th, 1800.¹   Catherine's father was John Pickersgill and her mother was Sarah Jagger.  Her paternal grandparents were George Pickersgill and Elisabeth Prince; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Jagger and Sarah Dawson. She had three sisters named Elizabeth, Agnes and Mary.  She was the youngest of the four children.
