James Letts

James was born on February 16th, 1802 and his baptism took place on March 20th, 1802 in Saint John The Baptist, Croydon, Surrey.¹   James' father was Thomas Letts and his mother was Elisabeth. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Henry, Sarah, Elizabeth, Maria and Harriot.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
