Abraham's baptism took place on June 25th, 1786 in Churchstanton, Devon (now Somerset).1  Abraham's father was John Doble and his mother was Sarah Follot.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Doble and Ann Tracey. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Elizabeth, Lydia, Sarah, Hannah and Agnes.
