Thomas was born in 1725 and his baptism took place on January 9th, 1726 in Uley, Glos..1  Thomas' father was John Baglin and his mother was Mary Peglar.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Baglan and Sarah Stone; his maternal grandparents were John Pegler and Hannah Hicks. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Mathew, Danuell and Amelia.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
