John was born on August 12th, 1921.  John's father was George Alexander Wright and his mother was Mary Gertrude Simpson.  His paternal grandparents were John Thomas Wright and Anne La Coste. He had two brothers and a sister, named George, Glenn and Madelyn.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died from cancer at the age of 59 on December 2nd, 1980.
