Robert was born in December 1941.  Robert's father was Alexander Percy and his mother was Mary Paton.  His paternal grandparents were Alexander Percy and Ann Archibald; his maternal grandparents were David Cochran Paton and Jessie Berry. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Davie, Alex, Jessie, Mary and Nancy.  He died  due to infancy convulsions at the age of 1 on March 8th, 1943 in 9 West Quay, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Scotland.  His burial was at the Port Glasgow Cemetary.1
