George Washington Dodge

George was born on October 29th, 1896 in Webster, Kansas, USA. George's father was Ulysses Henery Dodge and his mother was Sarah Jane Wood. His paternal grandparents were David Elisha Dodge and Harriet Ellen Cole; his maternal grandparents were Uriah Morgan Wood and Hannah Evans. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Everett, Uriah, John, Maria, Ulysses, Paul, Silas, Charles, Ora, Mary, Hannah, Lucy and Ida. He was the eighth oldest of the fourteen children.
