Sidney Way was born in 1864 in Baglan Lower, Wales. Sidney Way's father was Thomas MORRIS and his mother was Elizabeth WAY.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas MORRIS and Catherine MORGAN; his maternal grandparents were Robert WAY and Susanna LEE. He had four brothers and a sister, named Edward, Arthur, Alfred, William and Rosa Mary.  He was the youngest of the six children.
