Mary Jane was born in 1868. Mary Jane's father was Andrew CLUGSTON and her mother was Ellen CHURCH.  Her maternal grandfather was Thomas CHURCH. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, Andrew, Margaret and Frances Ellen.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 19 in 1887 in Katandra, Victoria.1
