James Hishon Moran

James was born on June 7th, 1855. James' father was James Moran and his mother was Sara(h) Hishon (Hisson/Heshin). His paternal grandparents were James Moran and Johanna Liston; his maternal grandparents were William E. Hishon and Frances Langford. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Will (William), Patrick "Uncle Joe", Michael, Daniel, Frances (Fanny), Margaret, Johanna, Kate (Catherine), Hanora (Nora) (Hana) and Mary (Babe). He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on May 2nd, 1922.

- Baptized 27 June 1855, son of James Moran and Sara, by Rev Cornelius MacCarthy; Godparents James Hishon and Nora (Hana) Moran; at Church of Shanagolden, Diocese of Liimerick. Buried Mt. St. Lawrence, Limerick.

- James' occupation was Solicitor, 36 Catherine St., Limerick. Admitted to the bar 1877. Involved in Irish National Politics; "held in highest regard" by Parnell and the Irish Party (newspaper article). Imprisoned during Land Wars of 1880's..
