Sesomo's father is David "Tafita" Masithela and her mother is Mosadi oa David O/S.  Her paternal grandparents are Letsoara Masithela and Mosadi Oa Letsoara. She has a brother and five sisters, named Seeiso, Selloane, Mmaepa, Rethabile, Makhotso and Keneoue.
