PARKES.- Ernest Kinscher, railway employee, after opening the gate at a level crossing near Parkes station, stood aside to let the train pass through. He failed to notice in the darkness that the end of a flooring board in a truck was projecting. This struck Kinscher, who fell, suffering slight concussion.
