The Bradford church records show that Thomas was privately baptised on February 27, 1808 and later received into the church on April, 7 1808. The child was named after Robert's father - he had no second name.
NSW Death Cert No. 3165/1859 states that the death of Thomas CARTWRIGHT was registered in Goulburn NSW, in 1859. His father's name was recorded as Robert CARTWRIGHT and his mother's name was recorded as Mary CARTWRICHT.

Thomas's father was Rev. Robert Cartwright - as noted in the publication of the marriage of his granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Cartwright.
Thomas was one of those five Cartwright children who accompanied their parents to New Holand aboard the convict transport ship 'Ann'.
