William Robert MORTLOCK 
William was born in 1910 in Mile End.1 William's father was Percy William MORTLOCK and his mother was Eliza BUCKLEY. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Mortimer MORTLOCK and Elizabeth Isabella COVELL; his maternal grandparents were Cornelius BUCKLEY and Alice BASTICK. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Ernest, Richard, George, Eliza, Catherine, Mary, Alice and Nellie. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Accident with horse and large cart, at the age of 7 on March 19th, 1917 in Whitechapel.General Notes
