Peter was born on January 16th, 1736 in Glemsford. Peter's father was Peter MORTLOCK and his mother was Ann MITCHELL. His paternal grandparents were John MORTLOCK and Elizabeth TIFFEN. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Peter, Richard, Richard, Mitchell, John, Phillip, Thomas and Ann. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 on January 19th, 1784 in Glemsford.-
