Ruth HALLSWORTH (ISAAC) (Ruby) 
Ruth was born in 1916 in Birkenhead. Ruth's father was Unknown and her mother was Dorothy HALLSWORTH. Her maternal grandparents were William Seville Richard HALLSWORTH and Florence MARLAND. She had a half-sister named Sarah. She was adopted by Harold ISAAC & Elizabeth at two years old in 1918.Adoption Notes
Elizabeth Issac adopted Ruby from an Orphanage when she was 2yrs old, while her husband Harold Issac was away fighting in WW1, Ruby held her arms up to her.
General Notes
She was a Colwyn Bay Beauty Queen and grandaugher remembers her telling the tale numerous times about how the crown hurt her head but she still had to wear it.
Dorothy's Father tried to get Ruby Hallsworth back but due to legal adoption this failed
