Percy was born in 1865 in Shoreditch.  Percy's father was William FIELDING and his mother was Sarah WAGHORN.  His paternal grandparents were William FIELDING and Ann CRUMP; his maternal grandparents were Richard WAGHORN and Maria. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William , Henry, Walter, Alfred, Rowland, Oscar, Albert, Charlotte and Rosa.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
