Birth Notes

Edith's father was George Arthur BOWERS and her mother was Ellen Jane BRITTON. Her paternal grandparents were Henry BIRD and Mary Ann BOWERS. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William, Stanley, Percy, Frank, Ralph, Dennis, Molly, Hilda, Ruby and Peggy. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 1 in 1912 in Great Oakley.
