Benjamin BOWERS 
Benjamin was born in 1861. Benjamin's father was Joshua BOWERS and his mother was Emma BIRD. His paternal grandparents were Peter BOWERS and Mary NICHOLSON; his maternal grandparents were George BIRD and Elizabeth RANSON. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry, Phillip and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Peter, Bowers, Harry, George, Benjamin, Robert, Elizabeth and Ruth.-
