John BIRD 
John was born in 1824 in Brettenham and his baptism took place there on January 6th, 1828. John's father was John BIRD and his mother was Hannah MUMFORD. His paternal grandparents were Edmund BIRD and Jane SNELL. He had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Robert, David, George, Daniel, John, James and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
