1774 - 1863 Charles Richards 89 89 WARNING: Dont confuse with Charles Richardson who married Elizabeth Pursell in 1901, another family.

Charles was left "£5 and a feather bed" in 1823.

His father, in his Will, left money to each of his children still alive, or to their children.  However, there was no mention of Charles' children.  It may be that Charles Richards and Charles Richardson are two different people, although birts tie in with the marriage.

Elizabeth, Charle's fitst wife must have died as Charles married another Elizabeth.

In 1841, Charles and Elizabeth (65 & 60) were farmers at Bronington, Hanmer, Flintshire with three daughters Sarah (25), Betsy (15) and Martha (14).

Charles became a bit of a celibately.  He was recorded in a book and in 1901, the year of his death, a newspaper clipping celebrated his 102nd birthday with 182 descendants.  There are probably a few more now!
