William Henry Alexander Woodward

William was born on October 17th, 1808 in Liverpool and his baptism took place on November 6th, 1808 at St. Paul (Liverpool).¹²

- There was another William Woodward born about 1809 in Liverpool (probably son of Samuel and Jane, bap 26 Mar 1808) who married Elizabeth Townley in 1830.

  William Henry Alexander son of John Woodward Chapel St and of Charlotte his wife.

William's father was John Woodward and his mother was Charlotte Symcock. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 in February 1869 in Liverpool. His burial was on February 13th, 1869 at the Anfield Cemetery.³

  In 1851, William and Charlotte (43 & 46) were living in Tranmere, Birkenhead with William (12), Amelia (11), Elizabeth (10) and John (7).
