Thomas was born on March 5th, 1807 in Bury and his baptism took place on July 16th, 1813 in Tottington.1  Thomas' father was Isaac Wood and his mother was Susan (Susy) Livesey. He had three brothers named William, Fletcher and John.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 84 on August 19th, 1891.
