Miriam was born in 1863 in Hawarden.1  Miriam's father was Robert Williams and her mother was Harriet. She had a brother named Thomas.  She was the older of the two children.



Miriam's family with Joseph Crofts

‌Miriam and Joseph were married in a religious ceremony on November 19th, 1883 in Chester.2   They had a son and two daughters, named John, Harriet and Mary.  There are possibly more children.
