Patience Walsh

Patience was born in 1812 in Bolton and her baptism took place on February 6th, 1814 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Patience's father was Robert Walsh and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Ann (Nancy) Tyrer. She had two brothers named James and Thomas.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 62 in September 1874 in Bolton.²

‌Patience and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony on June 11th, 1835 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³   They had a son and a daughter, named Henry and Ellen.  There are possibly more children.
