Alice of Little Bolton is the daughter of John Stevenson, a Carter.
In 1841, ALice Stevenson (16) was living with her parents John (a carter) and Alice at Kay Street, Little Bolton
Alice and William married in 1846.
Alice and William, a "Striker", had two sons James in 1847 and 1850. In 1847, the MMN is shown as STEPHENSON, but there is no matching Bolton birth record in 1850.
Alice died in 1850, soon after James was baptised.

Alice and William were married in a religious ceremony on January 1st, 1846 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Vicar J Slade and witnessed by Samuel Ramsden & James Liptrot.4 They had two sons named James and James. There are no more children.
