John Thomas Smith

John was born in 1870 in Bingley.¹ John's father was Joseph Smith and his mother was Martha Shackleton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Smith and Sarah Anderton. He had a brother and two sisters, named Fred, Hannah and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the four children.
