Abraham Settle

Abraham was born in 1791 in Bradshaw and his baptism took place on February 23rd, 1791 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

- Settle indexed as "Senle" and "Fettle" on 1841 census. Joseph Mather (farmer, 40) and Elizabeth were at Higher Know Mill, Edgworth with Abraham and Alice Settle (nee Mather) and their father Isaac (aged 80) at Know Mill. With the absence of baptism records for this period, Its is therefore assumed Alice and Joseph are siblings.
