27 May 1844, Elizabeth, daughter of John Davies married John Rowland, farmer of Bridge Street, son of George Rowland at St Mary's, Chester.
In 1851, John and Elizabeth Rowland (49 & 27) were living at the Red Lion, Chester Street, Wrexham with daughters Ann (7) and Mary E (2) and sister-in-Law Maria Davies (16, bar maid).
By 1861, John may have died, as the family appear to be split up, possibly died at Cefn in 1865.
