They had Frances in 1818 and George in 1820, both baptised at Manchester Independant and recorded as 2nd and 3rd child.
It could be that the first child was also Frances, born 3 Feb 1817, daughter of George and Frances of Preston. George was a Sailor! There are no other births in Preston, but there is a marriage between George Robinson Mattison and Frances Pickles at Preston 12 May 1816 which is probably this couple.
