Margaret was born in May 1797 in Malpas and her baptism took place there on May 28th, 1797.1 2  Margaret's father was John Richards and her mother was Elizabeth. She had a sister named Elizabeth.  She was the older of the two known children.  She died at the age of 73 in 1870.
