Ann was born in 1823 in Keighley.1 She died at the age of 46 in February 1869 in Leeds. She was buried on February 16th, 1869 at All Saints (Bingley).23

General Notes
Ann's father was Thomas Rhodes, a farmer from Long-Lee, part of Keighley. The Leeds Intelligencer reported her marriage on Saturday 23 Nov 1844 thus: "Tuesday last, at the parish church, Bingley, by the Rev. J. Cheadle, Vicar, Mr Ellis Ratcliffe, of Marlow Hall, farmer and grazier, to Ann, daughter of Mr Thomas Rhodes, of Long-lee, near Keighley."
Ann and Ellis were married in a religious ceremony on November 19th, 1844 at All Saints (Bingley) by Vicar J Cheadle.4 They had four sons and a daughter, named Thomas, John, Rhodes, James and Susannah. There are no more children.
