Zilpha was born on May 22nd, 1887 in Meltham.1  Zilpha's father was Ralph Redfearn and her mother was Elizabeth Dransfield. She had two sisters named Emily and Harriet.  She was the second oldest of the three known children.  She died at the age of 88 in January 1976 in Leicester.2 



Zilpha's first family with Harry Hinchliffe

‌Zilpha and Harry were married in a religious ceremony in March 1910 in Huddersfield.2   They had a son and a daughter, named Ralph and Hilda.  There are no more children.


Zilpha's second family with Frederick Hick

‌Zilpha and Frederick were married in a religious ceremony in September 1956 in Huddersfield.2   There are no children.
