Mary McQuire

Mary was born in 1799 in Darcy Lever and her baptism took place on January 6th, 1799 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

- Mary was born 1798 in Darcy Lever (1851 census). The birth of her daughter Margaret Lee in 1840 reveals her maiden name as MACGUIRE. It is therefore likely, Mary MACGUIRE (or McQuire) married John Mather 1817 and was widowed. Her baptism record confirms she was born in Darcy Lever.
