1 Jan 1870, Sarah Elizabeth Steward Mather (20), a Weaver from Tonge, daughter of Moses a labourer, married Charles Ammon Ramsden (24), a Jobber from Tonge, son of Thomas Ramsden, a Weaver at Prestwich. Here sister Margaret also married here later the same year.
