Sarah was born in 1781 in Turton and her baptism took place on May 13th, 1781 at Turton Chapel.1  Sarah's father was Robert Mather and her mother was Mary.

‌Sarah and John were married in a religious ceremony on October 28th, 1806 in Bolton.2   The family line is yet to be completed.
