Peter (Petrus) Mather

Peter, known as Petrus, was born in 1684 in Kearsley and his baptism took place on August 13th, 1684 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Petrus' father was John Mather and his mother was <unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 43 in November 1727 in Tyldesley.  He was buried on November 9th, 1727 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Leigh).²
