Mary Mather

Mary was born in December 1838 in Bolton and her baptism took place on February 17th, 1839 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Mary's father was James Mather and her mother was Tootel. She had a sister named Ann. Ann and Mary were twins.

- In 1841, there are no Ann and Mary Mather twins on the census, and no deaths for either registered in Bolton.
  
  Mary Mather, aged 2 in 1841, of Pelton Fold, daughter of Richard Mather and Mary (nee Rostron) is another.
