There is no baptism record for a Margaret, daughter of Thomas born in Bolton. The closest is for Margaret, born 31 Jan 1815, daughter of Thomas and Esther from Prestwich. Prestwich is not Bolton, so very unlikely
General Notes
Margaret was the daughter of Thomas Mather, Weaver of L.B. Assuming Thomas was married, her mother may have been Ann Kay (married Jan 1803).
In 1841, there appear to be no single Margaret Mathers, daughters of Thomas. All on the 1841 census seem to be married.
In 1861, Mathew Crook and Margaret (44 & 40) were at Spring Lane, Radcliffe (no children), but had Elizabeth Turner (20), a boarder living with them. Neighbours were Samuel & Elizabeth Mather.
