Betty was born on October 31st, 1787 in Bolton and her baptism took place on January 2nd, 1788 in Dukes Alley Chapel (NC).1  Betty's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Betty Kelsall. She had a sister named Mary.  She was the younger of the two children.
