Daniel's father was William Charles Marz and his mother was Beulah Fisher. His paternal grandparents were William John Marz and Ida Elisabeth Altenburger; his maternal grandparents were Albert Hyrum Fisher and Alta Jane Beckstrand. He had two brothers and a sister, named Steve, Jeffery and Charlyn. He died at the age of 56 on March 8th, 2018.
