Eddie was born in 1910 in Worcestershire.1  Eddie's father was Albert James Light (Lyte) and his mother was Florence Stones.  His maternal grandparents were William Stones and Mary Johnson. He had a brother and a sister, named Bertram and Winifred.  He was the youngest of the three known children.  He died at the age of 88 in 1998.
