Ann's father was Richard Lomax and her mother was Grace Ainsworth. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Humphrey, Makepeace, Mary, John, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died as an infant about 1763 in Bolton.
