Betty was born in 1754 in Newsome and her baptism took place on August 17th, 1754 in Almondbury.¹

Betty's father was Joshua Lodge and her mother was Isabel Morehouse. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Francis, Martha, Susan, Mary, Isabel and Grace.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 2 in June 1756 in Newsome.  She was buried on June 30th, 1756 in Almondbury.¹
