Eliza was born in September 1903 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

Eliza's father was John Henry Liddicote and her mother was Lavinia Guest. Her maternal grandparents were Guest Guest and Martha Ann Eckersley. She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Ernest, Emily, Ethel, May, Edith, Minnie and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
